Bones
These sketches were done at the Natural History Museum and the Page Museum. Bones are pretty tedious to draw :/ ...because every animal including dinosaurs have the same bone, just shaped differently. It's like sketching ribcages, femers, radiuses and ulnas over and over again. But it's also pretty difficult to make them look good.
Inventive Drawing
I'll try to also post some inventive drawing homework I've been doing. It feels pretty weird trying to emulate Chris Sander's style...being that he draws girls in provocative poses and naked. I'm more into drawing action/elegant poses...and I think it shows. Also bambi is hard to draw without knowing deer anatomy ;_;...
Huntington Library
Gah...finally came back home, so exhausted...long day sketching and sweating from all the walking around.
I did close-ups of some jungle plants in the conservatory, which was awesome. Felt like a real rainforest in there. I just realized that when I sketch I tend not to tilt the book so I see my own drawing properly. Hense, the crooked perspective environment drawings. -sigh- gotta learn from my mistakes..that's why I scan them.
So instead of looking amazingly badass, my perspective drawings just look laughable. Probably why I don't like to spend too much time on sketches when I know they won't turn out well. garklgh need to gain more patience.
